cFosSpeed ist ein Netzwerk-Treiber, der sich in bestehende Internet-Verbindungen einklinkt und den Datenverkehr mittels Traffic Shaping optimiert.
Traffic Shaping ist ein Verfahrung zur Optimierung des Internet Datenverkehrs, um maximale Geschwindigkeit bei minimalem Ping zu erzielen.
Sie können cFosSpeed mit einem Router und/oder mit einem DSL- bzw. Kabel-Modem einsetzen, aber auch mit jeder anderen Zugangstechnologie, d.h. immer dann, wenn Sie bereits eine bestehende Internet-Verbindung haben.
cFosSpeed unterstützt die unterschiedlichsten Arten von Internet-Verbindung, wie z.B. DSL, Kabel, ISDN, UMTS, etc.
cFosSpeed verfolgt zwei Ziele
1. Netzverzögerungen (Ping-Zeiten) klein halten, damit die Internet-Anwendung möglichst responsiv bleibt.
2. Datendurchsatz erhöhen, indem Netzwerk-Engpässe vermieden werden.
Sie können cFosSpeed einsetzen, wenn Sie den Internet-Anschluß exklusiv nutzen oder wenn sich mehrere PCs einen Anschluß teilen.
