DownloadHelper ist ein Werkzeug, das Webinhalte extrahieren kann. Es wurde geschaffen, um von möglichst vielen verschiedenen Seiten Video und Bildinhalte herunterzuladen.
Während Sie im Internet surfen, überprüft DownloadHelper, ob er etwas für Sie tun kann. Ist das der Fall, wird das Icon animiert und ein Dropdown-Menü erlaubt Ihnen, Dateien durch einen einfachen Klick herunterzuladen.
Wenn Sie z.B. auf eine YouTube Seite gehen, können Sie das Video direkt auf Ihre Festplatte speichern. DownloadHelper arbeitet auch mit MySpace, Google videos, DailyMotion, Porkolt, iFilm, DreamHost und vielen anderen.
Wenn Sie auf einer Seite sind, die Links zu Bildern oder Filmen enthält, können Sie einige davon oder alle auf einmal herunterladen. Wenn Sie mit der Maus über die Einträge im Downloadmenü fahren, werden die entsprechenden Links direkt auf der Seite hervorgehoben, damit Sie sicher sind, dass Sie die richtigen Einträge auswählen.
DownloadHelper erlaubt es Ihnen, die Dateien nacheinander herunterzuladen. Auf diese Weise können Sie Bandbreite zum Surfen oder für andere Downloads sparen.
